DIY CHECKLIST
Check for any visible rust
Look for any cracks in the windscreen or windows
When starting up the car, litsen for any unusal noises coming from the engine when the vehicle is cold.
Check that the wipers are free from rust and still in good working condition
Look for any damage to the body of the vehicle from previous accidents
See that the Registration and WOF(warrant of fitness) is current. Preferably a WOF from VTNZ or VINZ.
